This was at the end of a tape. As the recording cut out, Dutchy said it was 4-1 late. I checked online. Edmonton was leading at that point, and that ended up being the final score. Posting this as a tribute to Darren Dutchyshen, who passed away on May 15, 2024. Video credit: Joshua Langdon @Rewindium

Exactly as it says. Wish someone had a full sign-off from this period. I've had this snippet over 5 years and I completely forgot to upload it.
Who Will Love My Children? January 10, 1985 Promo Snippet
Просмотров 1852 месяца назад
Just a snippet. I'm sorry I don't have the full promo. There weren't any breaks kept. I once got a partial snap for a Centrum commercial. Unknown ABC affiliate. Could be WXYZ or WKBW, depending on what Barrie had on cable at the time. Aired near the end of the final installment of ABC's rebroadcast of "The Thorn Birds".

Includes a almost-perfect correcting of a Lucy bumper promo that as originally aired had the bottom half on top and vice-versa (likely a tape playback error of some kind at WVII).This is as close as you're going to get to a full-on correction. Intentionally encoded as Greyscale due to transmission quality issues (color comes and goes). Hopefully this passes muster.

Every Canadian over 50 has this theme song stuck somewhere in their memories. Great Canadian show, as good as anything Hollywood was doing at the time.
This is from the _Wiseguy_ season 3 finale episode, "Brrump-Bump" (Season 3, episode 22) as part of the Lynchboro/Seattle storyline. Original air date: April 18, 1990. This is also the final episode for Ken Wahl as Vinnie Terranova. He would later reprise the role as said character in the made-for-TV reunion film, _Wiseguy,_ which aired on ABC on May 2, 1996.
Ed McMahon! How cool!

I just found out that RUclips just got rid of the Video of the Full Movie of The CBS 1988 TV Movie, "My Father, My Son"!!!!!! That is too bad & that is a shame, that was & that is a very nice & a very wonderful Movie, My Father, My Son"!!!!!! I am not sure why & I do not know why RUclips got rid of it!!!!!!
Hard to believe she's Dean Martin's daughter! I wonder if Steve Martin ever met Dean Martin 😉
The weekends were especially enjoyable when we had the Saturday morning cartoons on ABC, CBS, and NBC, and we had the WWE wrestling shows at 12 noon and then on channel 50 and channel 20 they would show movies. I wish there was a device where you can travel back in time so I can go back to the 80s and early to mid 90s and relive those memories again.
Now I know what the movie was on Cinema 7 on 14 September in 1986! Thank you very very very much for uploading this. I really miss those days when good television was extremely existent!
Now that's Realistic!
This was WBEN until just before 1978. After it was sold it had to change its call letters

This "Kinephoto" disclaimer was seen at the end of virtually every "live" and videotaped program preserved on kinescope film by NBC- and shown on a delayed basis- from 1949 through 1966 {at least}.
Nick never drove the persephone
Used from September 10, 1994 to September 2, 1995.
This intro wouldn't have been from April 1989. This is the season three intro, and MTD was still in its second season in April 1989. The season two version of the title sequence had Dick Butkus, Staci Keanan, and Vonni Ribisi in the diner scenes. Amy Hathaway and Chad Allen were only credited in the closing sequence in season two.
Thanks for posting. September 14, 1971. The day that my cousin and her husband welcomed their first child (son) into the world. With his arrival, my aunt and uncle became first time grandparents,
I think these old ad's are still quite useful to people today. You can't find a minute rice commercial now
Not so little prices anymore
Aah, autotune. I like that commercial.
This is a more soothing sign off piece than the later one which would keep insomniacs up all night, or scream at the sleepy viewer to turn the TV off at the very least! This one looks better as this superior corporate-looking guide was broadcast a month before 📻-🇨🇦 switched to letterboxing 16:9 into 4:3, where the design looked a bit more like a school project
4:07 looks like 📻-🇨🇦 messed up with their aspect ratios for the programme guide. Since September 2007 they switched to letterboxing for analogue 4:3 broadcast. How come that as late as 2009 they were able to keep the sign-off sequence in proper 4:3 then suddenly stretch and cut the top and bottom sides off? Somebody must've been dozing off on the job... 😴 💤
One time they had a doghouse for this game, and they had a dog with it.
The only obese guy on television I really liked. Great actor. Sometimes, the scripts were cheesy, but he made most of them look believable.
Hence the “Pizza Pizza!!” slogan they still use to this day.
Playing RUclips roulette and here I am! I remember Chef Pasquale in Montreal in the '70s. Tele Domenica (Sunday T.V.) on CFCF Sunday mornings bringing the best of Italian T.V.. I could never understand a word of it, but very entertaining nonetheless. There would be Chef Pasquale singing up a storm, cooking up a storm and I found his techniques very easy and, very enjoyable! Good Grief. I was never that happy when I worked at McDonald's.

CHCH is running the bumpers from the original ABC broadcasts, which are not on the DVDs. The DVDs have the original uncut episodes of course, but it would have been a nice bonus to have the bumpers too.
Funny thing, as I've only caught this bumper just the one time. Just like the bumper for The Love Boat has only come up no more than 2 or 3 times, a Cheers bumper (that I didn't record) and a St. Elsewhere bumper (that I did record) once each.
March 18, 1996. My 33rd birthday. I was in engineering school at U of A, just finishing up 3rd year ('97 grad Chemical Eng.). I well remember Bill Matheson and still use expressions like "the most dreaded of all meterological phenomena...THE SIBERIAN HIGH" and "the Mother Low in the Gulf of Alaska, dispatching all her little lows" and "Keep your eye on the Idaho High". My family has no idea what I'm talking about. LOL.
My dad used to record the show Friends every Thursday before he went to work and he actually recorded a Subway commercial onto it.
i grew up watching Dutchy on ITV before it became 'Global', and remember he did some commercials, one was for a car dealership and it was a spoof of Home Improvement.
One of the greatest from my childhood along with "wok with yan' the best of the 80s cooking shows in Canada ❤maybe this is when I fell in love with cooking ❤
